The Community Blood Council of New Jersey is dedicated to providing the safest blood products and related services to our hospital-based customers.
The Community Blood Council of New Jersey, Inc. has been providing blood support in this region since 1966. Our organization is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3), governed by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees. CBCNJ is licensed as a community blood bank by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (#0137) and the Food & Drug Administration (#1247). We adhere to the Standards of the American Association of Blood Banks. In addition, we are registered with the Clinical Laboratory Improvements Amendments (CLIA) (#31D0695903).

The Platelet Apheresis / Whole Blood Programs are supported by Professors John Sheats, Ph.D. and James Riggs, Ph.D. of Rider University. This includes the pre-med honor society (Beta Beta Beta) that has initiated an apheresis program.
